Yes that is what i know of. Leek was the attack on Weeze from goch by the 53rd div.As part of clearing the path downwards along the maas. Heading towards the american forces comming up north to geldern. Heater by the 8th and 9th directed at kervenheim. As part of the approach to Alpen to meet the american forces going north east for the Wesel Xanten bridgehead.
As you can read in the pages posted by stolpi, in a later stage a attack called Operation Daffodil does also apply on this same battle.
Diz. Operation Heather is described in detail in my book, The Noise of Battle, published by Helion in 2016. Tony Colvin
Diz. If you're still interested, the 53 Div histry and a few of the battalion historiesmcover Daffodil and Leek quite well.
Diz, could you update a bit. I found some traces regarding Operation LEEK. But some operations are also mentioned in the book In My Father's Footsteps: With the 53rd Welsh Division from Normandy to Hamburg Thanks to Wapen who made this thread again visible.

Nice share Ramiles. Has Diz dropped off the forum? My old boss, Guy Crofton was a 9th/12th Lancer. Lovely man.
