The Orcadian newspaper of 7th December 1944 carries a story about the final parade of the Home Guard in Orkney (1st Orkney (Kirkwall) Battalion) in which the Home Guard Pipe Band took part. In this article David Horne is described as Drum Sergeant. But could anyone tell me who the Pipe Major was? Aad
