This has quite a bit in it about the film "Pearl Harbor" tho. the first bit is mainly about the zero fighter

I read the title of this thread and first post (in this thread) and thought back to when I first saw this film. I expected so much more from a film titled "Pear Harbor" and what this film might have been, but on watching it when it came out I just couldn't get my head around how awful it was. A case, I think, for being allowed to demand your money back, or get compensation for having anticipated something might be good - based on some hype etc. and been served up this.

How it "grossed $200 million at the domestic box office and $450 million worldwide. The film was ranked the sixth highest-earning picture of 2001." makes me wonder, but if someone had told me it was "the worst war film ever" I might have gone to see it - once ;-) and not felt quite so cheated by it ;-)

The youtube above though, made me smile about it now ;-) and actually begin to wonder if I could bare to watch it again ;-)

I'd rather be waterboarded than have to watch PH.

Tora Tora Tora is a far better representation of the attack.

I have been very lucky to have over flown Maui and Pearl Harbour on a helicopter a few years back and the perspective I got flying in low was way better than any film. Some things are always better seen for real.
