When I started researching my Dad's diary I wondered if he was in violation of WW2 military regulations for keeping a diary. This poster seems to support my concern.

Can anyone produce a written "thou shall not keep a diary" order? I assume that Canadian and British regulations would be similar if not identical.

If a chargeable offence, what articles would he/she be charged with and what could be the punishment on conviction.
