The small dark square centre of the glacis is the plate attached to all the post war builds. They just finished a few on the production lines and used them for testing. I have seen other photos of Panthers /Jagdpanthers in the same location.
Interesting m Kenny. They were taken at Belsen in July 46. Perhaps my Dad took the photos because they had just arrived onsite. Ian

He was there in June/July 1946 Kenny. Along with the photos of hardware and the lads in the barracks etc there are some photos of the mass graves . He had been promoted to corporal and was seeing out his days to demob. I may be wrong but was it a training camp?
