Photos from CFB Borden military museum

    Hi all,

    Drove up with my brother-in-law to this museum north of Toronto. Quite a variety of tanks, trucks, recovery vehicles, etc.

    great photos, thanks for posting, the ARV is a Centurion with turret removed, the jeep is a CJ5 series, we used them in Egypt, but had no windshield, top etc.

    Thanks guys!

    Robins, thank you for the ARV identification. There are a number of errors in the museum plaques they have put up - I think the one for that said it was based on a Sherman body (which is obviously wrong) and they labeled the Churchill a Mk IV.

    Looks like a solid collection.
    (The weird turret curve on later Stuarts is a shield for the AA mount:

    One of the highlights of my Scouting career was getting a ride round the ranges at Borden in a M113. Fun times fun times! Great thread!
