I took these March 2011 at Holy Cross Church, Ramsbury, Wiltshire. A plaque within the church is dedicated to the 437th Troop Carrier Group, 9th Air Force.

After 7 long years, France is completed. 657 lads in 218 cemeteries.

Thanks to all who have assisted me in this project over this time.

To DaveB who spent a good portion of his overseas trip providing nearly all my remaining requirements and Peter Bennett who provided the last four "hard to gets" today after returning from his trip to France.

    Cheers

This memorial is within St Barbara's church at Ashton under Hill, Worcestershire. I was allowed to remove the frame from the wall to get some non-reflective photographs outside.

Hope that I didn't miss any. This memorial is at Steeple Morden, Hertfordshire. This is the first memorial that I photographed in 1985. It was this that started me on my journey looking for these memorials. And we are still finding plenty. Also looks very good in the dark. Forgot to mention that I took these Saturday 11-07-2015.

    Thanks LF.

Great photo - Amongst many that I have never seen as well.

These (7) RAAF lads were killed in (6) different crashes between 18/04/1941 and 10/02/1942 and are buried at BASSINGBOURN CUM KNEESWORTH CEMETERY, CAMBRIDGESHIRE.

Details of the two RAAF and crew killed on 22nd July, 1941. At least they took an enemy aircraft with them.

A few of what this memorial looked like before the two Rolls of Honour were added about eight years ago.
