I hope I'm posting this in the right section, at anyrate here it is. (note: this is only a small section of the diorama, the rest was not set up at the time) You can probably tell that about 70% was bought prebuilt, I'll show the models I built another day. Its more for fun then show, every piece can be rearranaged so I'm always changing it. So with that said please don't bad mouth it too much lol
And to think when I was a kid I was happy with a couple of glue-spattered spitfires hanging from the ceiling Where's the train then? Cheers, Adam.
I must be a really old f**t then. Remember the decals that used to have to soak in water and slide into position on the models, they always seemed to split. are they all glued now?

Still mostly the same, though an amazing technological leap forward is currently happening, 'dry rub transfers'... errr... otherwise known as... Letraset.

Wow, fantastic Diorama. Looks great and brings back so many good memories of mucking about with old Matchbox and Airfix models in the 80's

Paul, Wierd thing to restore old decals; quite often taping them to a condensation-free window without too much direct sunlight will fade out the yellow colour they aquire with age, it usually works quite well. (you might need a bit more Micro-set/sol when you apply 'em though.) This may not work with Owen...
As everyone is going on about me getting old here is a photo of my greying hair. View attachment 2980
