Hmm seems you may need to spend some time in your back garden and away from the computer - anyway that a multi coloured speckled heron - I'm sure of it

Seen Yellowhammers plenty of times out in the countryside but first time ever had them in our suburban garden.

All that snow is making me feel cold! This is a Forest Red-tailed Cockatoo, an endangered species. Feeding on one of the eucalyptus 'gum' trees in my front garden.

FD879149-EB51-4EB1-BA7E-8740CCB3797F.jpeg Not exactly in my back garden but I took this photo in the county park and nature reserve where I go running. It’s an injured coyote (missing part of its rear right leg). There are also mountain lions, deer, snakes (mostly rattlesnakes), squirrels, rabbits and assorted wildlife. Deer are especially prevalent and can be seen on a daily basis, especially at dawn when they come out to feed and the mountain lions, their main predator, are resting as they are nocturnal and hunt at night.
