I am looking for information about the following Pipe Majors in the RAF during WW2, in particular in which bands/stations they were and when (year from-to): Coutts, Sandy Born: P/M R.A.F. during WW2 Daly, Michael Born: P/M R.A.F. during WW2 “at a station in the Scottish Isles”. (Information from Motherwell Times, 25 September 1942). Forbes, Robert Cameron Born: 1920 Clunie, Perthshire Died: 2005 Dallas TX, U.S.A. P/M R.A.F. from 1937 Was in the R.A.F. from 1937 to 1953, retired as a Flight Lieutenant. Emigrated to the U.S.A. and was a member of the North Texas Caledonian Pipes & Drums. McAnsh, Andrew Born: 1921 Grangemouth Died: 1978 Regina SK, Canada P/M R.A.F. during WW2 In 1949 emigrated to Canada (Saskatchewan). Walkinshaw, Robert S. Born: Native of Fife. P/M R.A.F. during WW2 In 1952 appointed P/M of St. George’s CLB Pipe Band in Chorley. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks Aad
