Polish badges ?

    My mother was with the Guide International Service (G.I.S.) just after the war, working with Displaced Persons in Northern Germany. Unit RS/131, if anyone is interested.....

    She obtained the following 2 badges at that time, and as there were many Polish DP's, I assume these are Polish origin. The "flag" has AK on it, which might be Armia Krajowa... It is about 45mm tall and 10mm wide....appears to be alloy and with painted panels.

    The stick pin looks like the Polish eagle, and is about 15 x 20mm.

    Any ideas ?
