I was talking to a chap today that told me about a friend who passed away called John (Len) Brenan or similiar that was in the Parachute Regiment during WW2. Sadly he passed away around 5 years ago and he had red beret on his coffin at his funeral that was well attended by all accounts. Any of you nutters ever heard of him?
No worries, it was always going to be a long shot but I was intrigued by what I was told. Cheers Andy
No offence intended...It was a compliment. Do bare in mind the spelling may be slightly different. I was told today that his name was John but he was known as Len. Regards Andy
