I'm going to start with the use of German WW2 vehicles in French Indo-China

One of the favourite stories I see often is the "Pink Panther" which a couple of people reported seeing in Vietnam (see attached image)

What is known for sure is that some German half-tracks were used by the French, along with a bunch of American made gear and a smattering of English vehicles

Syria - I won't bother with the museum photos or the ones still on the Golan Heights

Hard pressed to find a decent photo of a Swiss Army Czech built G.13 Tank Destroyer (Hetzer) that hasn't been retrofitted to look like a wartime Panzerjager 38(t)

Swiss G.13 with a 7.5cm StuK 40 instead of the PaK 39 and better optics and engine - it was in service until the early 1970s (with various upgrades)

Use of Panzerversuchsstation (tank testing area) Henschel at Haustenbeck near Sennelager / Paderborn in Germany from May 1945 onwards by the British to test various captured AFVs - some of the AFvs captured ended up at Bovington but most were just scrapped

The Haustenbeck Research and Experimental Establishment was also the site of the Heeres Waffenprüfungsamt (German Army Ordnance Testing Department)

Ah yes, the legendary Pink Panther....
But apart from a few "legends around the campfire", there is no evidence of this.
It is most likely due to a confusion with the M36.
The French actually used some of these in Indochina - and there is a certain similarity.
