    F/Sjt. Frederick John Brotherton, 489 Squadron RAF (1375315) was captured after his Hampden I 'K' AN156 was shot down over Norway on 28th March 1943 killing the pilot whilst the rest of the crew were taken prisoner; Brotherton was an Solicitors clerk before the war and died in 1983.
