A service record of an army officer (Colonel) shows that he was posted into the RAF Regt. at the time of it's formation.

Can anyone tell me what he did and where he went from this line in his service record:

APPOINTED COMMAND DEFENCE OFFICER, RAF REGIMENT 23:2:1942 then

    Service Record 23 2 1942.JPG

Is this saying he was posted from HQ Tech Trg Command RAF to Public Works Dept. South East Asia Service Record extract.JPG
    Many thanks

The first bit is probably 'HQ Army Co-operation Command'.

A Google on PWD SEAC looks as though it's more likely to be Psychological Warfare rather than public works..

    Blutto - yes your right.
I have found him 1945-1946 as a Brigadier "Director of Psychological Warfare, HQ Supreme Allied Commander South East Asia"

    Thanks Bala
