    East Surrey Rgt 30th (Reserve) Battalion TR of the 7th Reserve Brigade.
    I have just bought over 120 original ww1 negatives on this one camp [ tents ]. Taken in Kent july 1917.

    A few more. The original ww1 negatives are 100 years old 1917 to 2017 and still come out good after a bit of work on them.

    The photo of the 2 ladies - any ideas anyone what they might be doing there?? Nurses, wives ?? tent saleswomen

    I think they were wives as kids were there as well, might have been an open day at the camp.

    Just need to find out where the camp is ? might be near Shorncliffe ? or near Dover ? the camp is in kent

    Trying to find out where the camp is in Kent. Dover area ?

    In some of the photos you can see houses in the background, and on one of the house has Leneys and below on the next sign the word Garage ?.

    On some photos you can see this building on the top of the hill/ridge OP post?

    the battalion were stationed in dover that year. would the tents be permanent or temp for an event or something?

    Don't know if it helps but Leneys were a brewery in Dover.
