So, was leaving the US out of the 'correct' "Allied Countries" Q also a typo ?

Surely the correct answer is: UK, US & Russia ... Not: UK, France & Russia.

I think we can all agree that it was a terrible quiz.

 

What a shocker!!! Can you imagine what would happen if this was a pub quiz...the bloke running it would be lynched. But what can you expect when the quiz was set by Shred24?

 

I took exception to #8. "America" is not a country, but the United States of America is. I guess I am being too picky, like when I grouse about the location that made the news on Dec 7, 1941 being spelled sans the "U".

I got 10 but just took an appropriate guess for allies and when the war ended. Hope people dont take this as the truth as it is a good way to alter it. Is there anyway to contact the person who made it and let them know of these errors?

Personally Robert, if that person can't be bothered to properly research the content of their quiz, then why should we be bothered to do it for them. I mean, "WWII ... who's gonna know anything about that?"

 

Got 10 out of ten, didn't like the Allied question or the war ending question where you had to choose the least wrong answer.

I found the 'when did the war end' question rather difficult if not impossible to answer...
(I wonder why people who know f*** all about stuff make up quizzes?)

9/10 but like most people was confused by the last question. I thought that the Americans were allies as well?
