Flight Lieutenant Kirsty Moore from Lincolnshire previously served as a Flying Instructor, teaching students to fly the advanced fast jet trainer at RAF Valley, before flying the Tornado GR4 on operations in Iraq. Here she shows us round her new plane and explains what she thinks about her new job.

funny living here in Beverley - with RAF Scampton just over the bridge really. When the Reds are on training / practice flights locally - people usually mutted 'noisey bleeders' as the fly locally, heard one old bloke today as he looked skywards at the unseen noise and mutered 'bloomin' women drivers' yorkshire humour at its best
