    RIP. Private AP Briton.

This was three days before the assault by 50th (Northumbrian) Division on the Mareth Line and 4/5 days prior to the 7th Bn, Green Howards Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Derek Anthony Seagrim, winning the VC.

I believe that the 7th Bn, Green Howards, as part of 50 Div, were around Medenine at the time of Private Briton's death.

    Best,

    Steve.
