Hi all, I'm new to this site but have found information on here before which has been fascinating. I am currently researching (in depth) the 2nd Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment during the first 2 days of D-Day. Their landings, movements inland and actions they were involved with, culminating with the battle at Lebisey Wood on June 7th.

I have been in touch with a gentleman who has family links to Pte Alfred Leslie Parsons, one of the 154 men of 2nd Battalion killed, wounded or missing in action at Lebisey. I would say I am pretty familiar with the time line of the 4 Infantry Companies and the Support Company but I am trying to place Pte Parsons with one of them to complete his story.

Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Will
