I reckon i've got grave photos of about 80% of WW2 casualties and about 25% of the WW1 ones that are on the CWGC database for that cemetery.

Also got a fair few photos of graves with inscriptions to the memory of WW1 & WW2 casualties that are buried/commemorated elsewhere as well as 2 men that rode in the 'Charge of the Light Brigade'.

Let me have his details and i will have a look. If i've not already got photos for your man, i will pop down in the next week or so and get them for you.

    Cheers

    Just had a look and

    Is this your man?

If it is then i will probably still have the higher res (2-3Mb each photo) versions on a memory card somewhere.

If you want copies of these, then PM your e-mail address, and i will send them onto you.

    Cheers

    Scott

I live very near to St Woolos Cemetery in Newport, and have some photos of Alfred Saxty's grave.

If you'd like copies, please let me know your address, and I'll send them to you as soon as I can with pleasure.

    :)
