Not read it myself Chris, so I can’t say, but I see you can get it here:

Zero Hours : Gun Buster : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

I have three of his books, Return Via Dunkirk, Battle Dress and Grand Barrage. I confess to having the first two purely because they relate to his time in my grandfather’s regiment.

Mrs Wobbler got me Grand Barrage for my birthday last year, but I’ve not read it yet. I know he’d left the 92nd at that point and I presume it’s about AA?

You will doubtless also recall this thread here, but it has no details about Zero Hours.

Not a problem. I've copied off your 54th history to read at my leisure. The only other Hvy Regt history I have is of the 56th and a little on the 57 & 59th Newfoundlanders in the 166th Field Regt history. cheers

Hope you enjoy it! Is the 56th Heavy history you own an 'official' copy i.e. a real life original print or a photocopy?
