Royal Artillery information

I have my dads Army service record but I would like to find out what battles he may have taken part in and what ship he may have travelled on as this is not disclosed. He embarked for India in 1942, He was in RA 388 Battery Lt. AA Reg. RA. Anyone able to shed any light?

Two members of 118 LAA Regt RA are recorded in the South African Women's Auxilary Service's "The Book of Thanks".

They arrived S. Africa from the UK on 1/3/1943 on the Empress of Canada, Convoy WS 26.
