I visited Major Milton's grave recently as part of research into the history of the 140th (5th London) Field Regiment in 1940, and my father's involvement with the Regiment. The story of Major Milton's capture near Cassel and the escape of his Driver, William Martin, features on the website. I've also posted a Regimental 1940 roll of honour on the site. 140th (5th London) Army Field Regiment, Royal Artillery – Their story between the 10th and 31st May 1940 PS.Congratulations on this Herculean task- I can see that there are quite a few 140 Rgt. casualties buried at St Omer which I missed on my visit to this Cemetery and will update accordingly.
