Not too sure where to start on this forum.. cannot seem to find where the 6th Battalion Royal Norfolk were in January 1942. I think they were 53rd Infantry Brigade, but not sure they were on island or mainland on 21st January. They lost 61 men that day according to CWGC.

    Thanks in advance

    Tony

They were on the mainland, coming back from their high-water mark which - from memory - was Bukit Pelanduk near Yong Peng. (That's 21st rather than 26th)
