Hello all, I was given a photograph of the highly decorated Rudolf Struckmann. But I know very little about him apart from his medals. Does anyone know how I can find out more - possibly his service record?[IMG]

He was a panzergrenadier officer rather than panzer, so was basically motorised infantry rather than a tank commander.

He won his Knights Cross during Operation Crusader so a forum search (or a Google one) will turn up details relating to the battle for the day he won the award.
