    Purchased this piece from an estate clean out many years back, and in the back of the picture folded up was a Remembrance Mass guide with Mabel's life story. Wanted to share some of it with the Forum

    She was born in Sussex England on July 2,1909 and was an only child. May immigrated to Canada in 1917 and became an American citizen in 1937. She served with the Women's Army Corp from August 1944 to July 14 1946 attaining the rank of S/Sgt. She was recipient of an American Service Medal, WW2 Victory Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
