If the service number of the second one matches why is there a doubt, or have I missed something? Also the Waltair one is Army.

Waltair was the old colonial name.

The coastal military establishment designated as RAF Vizagapatam, about 250 miles north of Madras hosted a RAF station and a RN Fleet Air Arm element.

Thanks Tony56, bamboo43 and Harry Ree for your swift replies. That was the trouble, there was no service number on the the first one and I had no idea about Waltair at all. So thanks for the links as well. Kindest regards, Mavis
