I tend to agree with what Erika Stosenberg says. This very important piece of history belongs in a museum.
Yes definately not in some private collection never to be seen again, something has important has this should be seen by all.But unfortunately money always wins.
There have been threads about the man himself, such as this one http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/holocaust/9394-oscar-schindler.html if not the film itself Something here:http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/ww2-news-articles/37086-schindlers-list-goes-up-auction.html as well Finally, some comments here: http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/books-films-tv-radio/14092-best-holocaust-movie.html Ron

Schindler's List - 20th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray + Digital Copy + UV Copy 1993: Amazon.co.uk: Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Kingsley, Steven Spielberg: Film & TV Adapted from the novel by Thomas Keneally, Steven Spielberg’s masterful film tells the incredible true story of the courageous Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson). Initially a member of the Nazi party, the Catholic Schindler risks his career and life, and ultimately goes bankrupt, to employ 1,100 Jews in his crockery factory during the Holocaust. Schindler’s Jewish accountant (Ben Kingsley) serves as his conscience, as Schindler conducts business with an obstinate and cruel Nazi commander (Ralph Fiennes), who viciously kills Jewish prisoners from the balcony of his villa overlooking a prison camp. Filmed entirely in black-and-white on location in Poland, Schindler’s List does not downplay the faults of its magnanimous and unlikely hero, but relates a story of the triumph of the human spirit in the face of horrific devastation and tragedy. This newly reissued 20th Anniversary Edition is the first time this film has been available on Blu-ray. Includes: Restored high definition film with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound Second disc (DVD) with 1 hour of special features: Voices from the List, The Shoah Foundation Story with Steven Spielberg 16-page collector's booklet Digital Copy and UltraViolet Copy Digital/UV Copy Information: Digital Copy expires April 7, 2014 UV Copy expires April 7, 2015
It's a film I have always "enjoyed" watching as a it is so "perfect"... all the players, perfect in their roles... the darkest being Ralph Fiennes I really have the hump with blue-ray as they are so trying to push "avid movie fans" into upgrading to it - almost everything that used to be standard goodies on DVD are now gone - if you want all the extras you are now excluded, completely... I watched both "The Thing" yesterday, on DVD, in order, and compared the extras on Carpenters "original" with the "prequel" - more than an hour of goodies more... At least Lord of the Rings, Avatar and the most recent release of Blade Runner came fully loaded, as did the 10 disc Matrix set... almost everything "big" now is blue-ray or the highway...

Bit of a silly story really. I knew a chap who had all his sexual misadventures revealed in the tabloids a while ago... Thats traumatic. And hilarious.
