Sgt George MW Walker RAF

    Hi All,

    I'm trying to research a great uncle, George Marshall William Walker who is in the attached photo.

    I know he was an RAF Sgt at the time he was married (Jul 1942) as the photo shows but I have no idea about what he did. I presume from the half wing on his jacket he was aircrew but can anyone see what the letter might be?

    Can anyone suggest anywhere I can look other than applying for his record? Are there any websites that might help?

    Any help would be really appreciated.

    Looks like an AG wing but it’s hard to tell
