A friend of mine decided -finally- to publish the study he has been working on for the past 20 or so years.

On September 17, 2018, it is 74 years since Operation Market Garden. He thought it would be a good opportunity to publish his very first historical study concerning one of the gliders that participated in the airborne part of the operation, but unfortunately never made it.

The Glider, containing members of the 101st Signals Company and one Royal Signals soldier, crashed on the way to the drop zone in Allied territory near Bornem, Province of Antwerp, Belgium, killing every body on board.

He made the study in both English and Dutch.

Both versions are available through the Amazon network (US, UK, DE, FR): https://www.amazon.co.uk/Silent-Win...qid=1537171916&sr=8-2&keywords=erwin+verholen

Paperback only. Each version has a different cover photo. He is working on a hardcover version as well, but this will appear some time later than planned.

His aim was to have something permanent that would keep these men's names from being forgotten.
