    Hi

    New commer on ww2talk.
    I am interested to all info about the SOE station of POUNDON (53-B).
    I have study the aerial transmitter layout, that give a lot of informations about frequencies, type of antenna (dipole and rombic), azimut ...etc
    I dont know what was the exact location. Is it on the same place of the present station (Station hill west village) ?
    What were the hight of the pylons ?
    Is it possible to have picture of this secret station during ww2 ?
    Waiting for help. (sry for my poor English);

    I have some photos of the operators at work - there may be some pictures in the histories but I have not seen them yet.

    There were 3 stations in the Pounden area two British and one American.

    Dear Bandy and Jedburgh22
    I am currently preparing a presentation about these base stations.Unfortunately,I don't have any good pictures from that time and I am wondering if you would like to share the ones you have.
    Thank you
