I have tentantively arranged an evening meeting at the Megaro Hotel 23-27 Euston Road (directly opposite Kings X - St Pancras Station) from 1930 (7.30pm) on Thursday 14th July 2011. Anyone who is going to attend please RSVP me via pm in order that I can provide them with numbers for a buffet supper and wine.

I hope that we will be able to manage the following

    * A twice yearly magazine in April and November containing articles book reviews etc.
    * An online website - with a members only area for file lists etc
    * Podcasts available of monthly meetings for non London residents
    * Discounts on books on WWII SF
    * Visits to Museums and sites of interest.
    * Help with ongoing research projects

    kind regards

    Steven

A nice evening was had by all - now going through the tedious tasks of writing a constitution, bank accounts etc, the reaction from those attending was positive - now down to the hard work involved in realizing the project.

    Steven,

How is this initiative developing? Any design to include new members? Hope that the effort post meeting has been smooth so far. I imagine the initial administration is the speed bump to fast progress.

Look forward to assisting and participating in some manner.

    M.

    Hi Erik,
I specialize in WWII Allied Special Operations but cover the whole range of SF during WWII
The SF Badge was designed for the Jedburgh teams - the Belgian Teams did not deploy due the rapid fall of Belgium - a shame not to be used after so much training and ops briefings.
