It's kind of war in the air. There is a local Starfish site to my home, and i was wondering how many there were, if any were bombed and if so how many of the RAF men died maintaining them in the raids? My local site was never bombed, god knows why as it was directly under the German flight path for Manchester and Liverpool. The remaining lads say it was F****** scary, but they ever got hit. In line with the site is one of the permanent Meacon sations at Mow Cop, with two satellite stations (vans) at two local farms. Again how many Meacons were there, and were they bombed? It's proving very difficult to track this info down, and I was wondering if the genius's who inhabit this site could tell me.
