CWGC has 159 Civilian casualties in Stoke Newington on 13-14 October 1940.
Most are recorded as being killed at 157/161 Stoke Newington Road

Ah! There's an eyewitness report here BBC - WW2 People's War - Coronation Avenue, Stoke Newington, in the Blitz explaining that Coronation Building was a large block of flats with the shelter being 3 large rooms in the basement.

Another sweep of CWGC just using 157/161 brings up 153 Names, but Coronation Avenue bombing says his 2 relatives, Solomon and Yetta Posner died there, but they don't show in your photo.
They are in the Excel List I did earlier, of 49 Maury Road, Hackney but died at 157/161 shelter....

So, could they be 2 of the 9 "unidentified" that have subsequently been located?
I can't read them all, but if anyone wants to, I attach the CWGC extract which includes a couple dying on 14th

Hmmm - dont meant to confuse

All UK, WWII Civilian Deaths, 1939-1945 for 13th Oct 1940 and Stoke Newington, London, England the search throws up Results 1–20 of 155

I would assume that this register has the names of 155 who died in Stoke Newington that night, whether they all died in the same location would need a look at each individual record, others may have been killed close to the shelter and maybe be some of the unidentified

Stoke Newington: remembering the Blitz | Eastlondonlines
biggest casualty of the Blitz for Stoke Newington on 13 October 1940, when a direct hit wiped out 170 people in one night.

The figure of 155 would be I guess for those found that night, if others were found after that date, i.e dug out of the rubble I suspect their date of daeth might be later than 13 Oct 1940 - not sure on that though

Using a change in death date I note that 5 are reported as having died on 14th Oct 1940 at an address of 98 Green Lanes, this could be a place for collecting bodies or some hospital etc etc

This 5 added to the 155 totals 160

Re checked the database covering Oct 1940 for Stoke Newington and for the 13th/14th Oct 1940 the total number is 160 as above

14th Oct 98 Green Lanes was a separate incident.

The dead were removed from the shelter (157/161 Stoke Newington Road) a few days later, info from this memory BBC - WW2 People's War - Coronation Avenue, Stoke Newington, in the Blitz
There are 152 recorded deaths on the CWGC site at Results
    Plus nine unidentified is 161.
My search term for CWGC was the shelter's address as "additional information".
