The following picture was taken at the Finnish Parola tank museum. Anyone know what it is? The notes I took fail me on this one.... TIA! Regards, Marco
Hello Morse, Thanks for your reply. The char b had two guns and that whole series was much bigger. It looks very much like one of the Russian T-26 series which came in awfull lot of variations, but I would like to know for sure Regards, Marco

Hi Marco, The distinctive cupola, on many of the early French tanks, is the clue to which country made them. The rhomboid track path, a hall-mark of designs by Colonel Estienne, identifies it as being a Renault FT-17 Light Tank. Of interest, it was the first tank to have an all-round turret and although it was principally intended to be a mobile pillbox for infantry support, over 4,000 were built and she remained in service for some considerable time post WW I. Her armament: either a 37 mm gun or a Hotchkiss 8 mm machine-gun. Regards, Gerry
