The Battle of Midway - Timelapse

    In the week that the Japanese aircraft carrier Kaga has been found the guys at The Operations Room have released another time lapse coverage of a battle and this time it is The Battle of Midway.

    Only last week I watched the 1976 film depicting the lead up to and the battle. I didn't realise just how high the American aircraft losses were, before weight of numbers and a little good fortune overcame the Japanese.
