Saw a trailer but they didn't say when it was on. Did it clash with Bake Off?!?!

    Finnish bloke's scrapyard is eye-watering.
    Stug guns. Multiple PAK40s, 88s.
    Mental.

I was impressed by the impressed 18 pr in the container. I could see Andy buying that one. It looked like it had a muzzle brake like the German-modified French 75.

Don't think I'd heard of this small British contingent in the winter war either.

I wondered if anyone would mention this - 250 blokes cut off behind enemy lines. I wonder if there's anything at Kew? Anyone know what unit they were?

I'd never seen that German 'multitool' bayonet before.
    I want one.

Wonder what they paid for that Hetzer... At one point it had an engine compartment full of concrete.
    It certainly hasn't now.

Bruce mentioned 1/2 million at one point for the Hetzler, but that seems a bit excessive, I was wondering why a museum would want a tank in their collection which had no historical connection with the war events in their country, seems bizzare like they want to relive the European war particularly as a few of the spectators were wearing German army uniforms.

I heard the half million, but suspected it too cheap for such a complete/fully restored German armoured vehicle with a known WW2 history. The ancillary bits alone, shells, sights etc. Would be... A lot.

Those tiger bits were very interesting too. In aircraft world that percentage of original parts would be seen as a viable base for restoration.

so 4 ep 10.jpeg I watched Combat Dealers tonight which involved Bruce returning to Arnhem with Freddie ? They purchased a Dutch Resistance Radio inside a hollowed out book ..now my question the Book in Question was ` An Introduction to Physical Science` (First Published I believe in 1933 ) would a resistance fighter hide a radio in a book printed in English and published I would assume in England knowing that a Germans suspicion would immediately be roused by the mere presence of such a book without actually looking in the thing? Or have I missed something (again)

    Cheers

Watched it, quite poorly researched. From memory they went to the wrong 'East Mole' amongst some other stuff.

Bit out of the way ..
