at 0005hrs on the 10th of July, P/O J. Rex - Sgt's Jeffery and Liddle took off for a reconnaissance over Le Havre. They failed to locate the aerodrome and crashed at Peterstone, near Cardiff on return to Thorney Island at 0420hrs. All crew were lost.

Does anyone know of any missions flown earlier than this, with "Time Up" times between 0001 hrs and 0005hrs?

    Thanks,

    Lorenzo.

Were these men amongst those who had their BofB bar later rescinded?

I suppose I should check your list!
