My Grandfather left me a copy of "The History of The Queens Royal Regiment 1924 - 1948" which was his regiment. Willing to look details up for anyone who needs research. Regards Keith images/smilies/default/tongue.gif
Hi, My grandfather's name was Harold William Reeves. I think he served with the Queens Royal Regiment 1939 - 45. Thanks Allie

Thanks Allie [/b] Hi Allie Unfortunately Official Regimantal historys do not tend to mention other ranks by name other than if thy did something of note so it is unlikely that I will find him. Do you know which battalion he served in? If not any idea of where he served and I might be able to narrow down possible battalion. Let me have anything you have on him amd I will see what I can find. Regards Keith
Hi Keith, That was a quick reply. I made another post here which explains what info I have currently better: http://www.ww2talk.com/index.php?showtopic=2737 Allie
