Beautiful pics mate. Something stirring about seeing the Hawks in that Livery. The Hawk has become synonymous with the Red Arrows now. Hard to imagine a Hawk in regular RAF colours!

Hawks also look rather good in black.
My brother , ex-RAF, works on Hawks like this one.
edit, my bruv just told me,
...this used to be on FRADU, was one of the first 7 we recieved.

It has just been announced that Red Arrows will remain at Scampton until at least the end of the decade. They were to relocate to Waddington in 2014 presumabily in order to shutdown Scampton. They must be celebrating as they are presently overhead in the Scampton circuit.

It makes one wonder who thought that the Red Arrows would be best based at Waddington.Clearly not blue sky thinking suggesting that an operational station such as Waddington could accept further units.

Come to think of it,each time the Red Arrows have departed for a new base, they always used Scampton airspace for training.

The Red Arrows will remain at RAF Scampton for the foreseeable future, it was announced today.
The MoD has revealed it intends to keep the display team and the RAF’s Air Surveillance and Control System (Asacs) at the base, north of Lincoln.

Great news. So good for aviation in Lincolnshire and to see home of the Dambusters staying open for now.

    Some super pics here.
BBC News - Highs and lows: Behind the scenes with the Red Arrows

When photographer Keith Wilson was asked to capture the spirit of the Red Arrows, he witnessed one of the most difficult periods in the history of the RAF's daredevil aerobatic squadron.
During the months he spent with the crew and their support team, two pilots were killed in accidents - Flt Lt Jon Egging at a display, and Flt Lt Sean James Cunningham when he was ejected from his stationary jet.
Mr Wilson is donating some of the proceeds from his book - Red Arrows in Camera - to the RAF Benevolent Fund and The Jon Egging Trust.
