Just got back from 2 weeks in America, and one of the highlights of the trip was the Thunder over Michigan airshow at Ypsilanti. The airshow itself wasnt much to shout about (certainly not to Duxford Flying Legends standards) but was well worth it to see EIGHT B-17s in the air at once, not to mention one of only two flying B-24s. The pics here are just a teaser until I get all my pics uploaded to photobucket. I say seeing all that lot was only one of the highlights - THE highlight was getting an hour long flight in the Houston based B-17 Texas Raiders. Pics of that trip to come too Enjoy

I bet the mustang could out turn the Falcon - was it a good show? Did they throw the planes about the sky or was it a more sedate "flypast" type affair? Thanks for sharing
