    Hi there,

I am a voluntary guide at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra and am slowly researching the role of the non-Australian units that were at the Siege.

In particular the four British field regiments, the RHA and the RA, that supported all four Australian infantry brigades, one being the 18th Bde from the 'Silent Seventh' Div'n.

It would be very helpful if I could find a way into those Fd Regiments history folks, and the RHA and RA history types. I am interested in anecdotes and opinions - of each other - from both sides, Australian and British.

This aspect of the siege has IMO only been touched on, e.g. Mark Johnston's book "Anzacs in the Middle East" does address it.

    TIA

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I've added RHA & RA to the thread title, might get the attention of folks who share the same interest.
