    Hi All,

i am searching any possible source about aerial photographs of the Tobruk defences in 1941 and 1942.
    Thanks in advance for help.

Prior to CRUSADER RAF ME took a lot of pictures, so if you can find which archive they ended up in, you'd be on to something.

    All the best

Not exactly photos, but have a go at Google Earth. You can still see most of the anti-tank ditch, and the weapons pits.

Also the 'Fig tree', if you look hard, it is south of the Derna Road, just east of the anti tank ditch. The 'Easter Battle' took place near the el Adem Road crossing.

Tobruk is about 10 times the size it was in 1941.
