I am visiting Tunisia, hopefully in October and November. Any requests e.g. grave photos or particular sites on battlefields? I will be in Sfax, Wadi Akarit, Mareth, Medenine, Wilders Gap, El Hamma, Matmata mountain passes. If enough time I will also visit Maknassy and Fondouk.

I echo this interest, and would like to add El Hamma, especially the Tomb of Sidi Abd En Nomi, and the area of the Mareth Line where Operation Walk occurred. I attach a link to my attempt to xplain/detail the action. Operation Walk 16 and 17 March 1943

    Thank you for your offer.

Will you be visiting Massicault War Cemetery in Tunisia at all?

I am looking for a new headstone for this chap:-
    Sgt Harry Salt 5050828
    1st Reconnaissance Corps
    V.G. 9
Serjeant Harry Salt | War Casualty Details 2196997 | CWGC

His headstone previously read 51 Recce but I managed to get the MOD to alter it online to 1 Recce. I'm not sure we ever got a new photo of the headstone.
Would be most grateful if you are near there.
