I'm nor sure if this is the correct place to post this question so Mods feel free to move if not appropriate. My question is in two parts: Part one: What became of WW2 Unit Nominal rolls? where they passed up the Army administrative chain to Corp or Army and ultimately archived or destroyed after a set period of time. Part two: For non front line units ie Corp troops I assume a parade roll call would be held each day using the mans name and rank so were names and ranks recorded on the unit nominal roll or just numbers by rank and trade ?
