Unknown airman, RCAF, Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery: 16/12/1944

    Hi all,

    On the Groesbeek Canadian cemetery is an unknown pilot with death date December 16, 1944.
    Can anyone help me with more information about crashed planes in this area around this time?

    This airman was first buried at BEDBURG Germany. Dont know where he crashed...hope this helps.

    Your first port of call to me would be to search the Bedburg archives and cemetery records and to try to get the MRES report from Canada.
    The Canadians are usually pretty helpful
