Hi all, I've attached PDF of the US take on the military situation covering the Dunkirk evacuation and Fall of France taken from the US National Archive which is in the process of digitising various documents. I thought they might be worth a read, particularly as they would have had a better idea of what was actually happening from more direct intelligence at the time.
My pleasure. I have also found this for April - May 1940, which has reference to a possible allied campaign up through the Balkans to, I assume Poland, the war in Norway and the 10th May German assault. Again an interesting read. This is the website if anyone fancies a search: National Archives NextGen Catalog
