Vickers Wellington X9700 lost on Aug 17/1941

    Hello and welcome.
    A 1938 Vauxhall registered to an RM Williams may not be the Robert Meirion Williams in this thread as he was in the Royal Canadian Air Force and would be unlikely to have been in the UK until 1940.
    Does that tie in with your log book, as I doubt he would have been the owner from new.
    Nonetheless, stranger things have happened, but Bob Williams son hasn't been back to the forum since early 2013 and hasn't posted enough for a Personal Message to reach him.
    Your best bet would be that a Moderator or Admin team spot this and perhaps have an email address by which to try and contact them.

    Just out of curiosity, which model Vauxhall is it? I'd guess a 14/6 but that looks too sedate for a racy Air Force type, so perhaps the Stratford?

    Apparently he bought it New in 1938 but died in the War

    She is classed as a Saloon i believe
