On a Facebook group about Stalag's I was moved by this man's request for any information on his father Vincenzo Coppolecchia, who was an Italian POW in Stalag XII D.
"I would do research on stalag XII D where my father was prisoner, if there are photos or documents his freshman number 38489 between '43 and '45.
He worked on ship and the last ship POlCEVERA be attached from Uboat in greece sea, 171 people survived one of this was my father"

Any thoughts? Is there a site for Italians wanting information on their POW's?
    Thanks
    Barbara

Ok. Thanks. That must be why Vincenzo's son is asking on English speaking sites.
